ESTABLISHING A CHARITABLE ANNUITY

Establishing a Charitable Annuity is easy. Just make a check payable to the charity and complete a W9. The charity will intern provide you with a complete certificate outlining the agreement to make income payments.

The Donors

You can be the sole donor or name a joint donor if you choose. Usually joint owners are husband and wife.

Decide on the Income Beneficiaries

You can be the sole income
beneficiary or you can name multiple income beneficiaries that will also receive income during their lifetime. Note that a non spouse income beneficiary may be subject to gift taxes.

Fund your account

Checks should be made payable to the Charity that you are supporting. If you have an asset or assets you wish to transfer, simply contact us for further instructions that would pertain to the type of asset you are wishing to donate.
